The engraving is done using a thin laser that changes the surface without touching it, so there is no need to worry about scratches remaining on the keyboard.

In the engraving process, the laser does not change the shape of the keyboard but only slightly heats the surface on which the engraving is performed. This happens because the laser only removes a thin layer of plastic while the majority of the surface remains untouched.
